
The WISE Talks Public Speaking Competition, a flagship initiative under the ELMS platform, marked its 5th regional edition with great success in Kohat on May 22, 2025, at the prestigious Crown Hotel. This intellectually stimulating event brought together passionate young speakers from across the region, aiming to hone their public speaking skills, foster confidence, and celebrate articulate expression.

A total of 40 students from diverse schools and colleges participated in the competition, which was divided into four categories to accommodate varying academic levels and linguistic backgrounds. Chief Guest and Awards Ceremony
The event was graced by Prof. Mudassir from Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST) as the Guest of Honor. In his inspiring address, he applauded the organizers for their efforts and commended the participants for their eloquence and confidence.
Prof. Mudassir also presided over the awards distribution, presenting shields and cash prizes to top performers in each category. The audience celebrated the winners with enthusiastic applause, acknowledging their hard work and exceptional oratory skills. Four young orators are selected for national level competition.
